Game Time: Friday, 10:30pm est

Game four of the season opening road trip takes the Bruins (1-2) to Cali to take on the struggling LA Kings (1-3).

Boston is coming off a heart breaking 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Stanley Cup champions Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night.  Center Marc Savard, who was out of action Wednesday nursing a groin injury, is doubtful once again to lace up the skates.

If Boston continues their strong 2-way play they displayed against the defending champs on Wednesday night, it should put them in good shape on Friday night.

“That game was like a playoff game, it really was,” Bruins defenseman Aaron Ward told the Boston Herald after the game. “It was the kind of game where you just know the last mistake is going to decide it.”

B’s have yet to name their starting goalie for Friday.  Strong efforts from Tim Thomas in his first two games is making it tough for coach Julien to give Manny Fernandez a run at the coveted number one job.

Los Angeles have struggled out of the gate, winning only one game through their first four on the season. Michael Cammalleri leads the Kings attack with 5 points.

BTB Fearless Prediction: Boston 4 Los Angeles 1 (YTD Record: 2-1)

Enjoy the game,
