1. Tuukka Rask (G)

Scouts love this kids athleticism - just needs to add more pounds to his slight frame. Rask, who had a shaky playoff performance last season in Providence, will be out to prove the critics wrong early in 2008.  With Tim Thomas and Manny Fernandez both playing out their contracts this season - don’t be surprised if the kid is playing in Boston before this seasons trade deadline.

Arrival: 2008/09

2.  Zach Hamill (F)

Superior hockey sense and untapped offensive ability.  Think Joe Sakic.  He’ll develop his skills in Providence this season and will most likely get a cup of coffee in Boston before the season is out.

Arrival:  2009/10

3.  Joe Colborne (C)

4. Carl Soderberg (C)

5. Vladimir Sobotka (C)
6. Blake Wheeler (RW)
7. Brad Marchand (C)

8.  Matt Lashoff (D)

His best work comes in the offensive end of the rink.  Strong skating skills on the blueline.

Arrival:  2008/09

9. Kevin Regan (G)

10. Andrew Bodnarchuk  (D)
Other Notables

Yuri Alexandrov (D)

Talented mobile defenseman continues to develop his skills in Russia. We may never see him in Boston.

Martins Karsums (F)

Hard nosed winger isnt afraid to crash and bang. Showed scoring touch at both Junior and AHL level.

Tommy Cross (D)

This big stay-at-home defenseman is good at everything - but not great.  Limited ceiling, could develop into a solid #3 or #4.
